First, answer the call of nature before you actually go floating. This means that you should go to the restroom right before the session. If you do that, then there is no need for you to get interrupted while you are using the pod. You do not have to go out of the pod just so you can use the comfort room.

The place should then provide you with bath items you need to keep yourself feeling good while you are taking a bath. Most of the spas these days offer soaps and lotions. Some use the standard lavender fragrance but there are those spas that offer varieties to their clients.

Before you get yourself into the tank, you should remember to shower first. You should also make use of the provided shower gel and shampoo. These should help you get rid of any makeup, dirt, lotion, or oil sticking to both your hair and body. While you are under the shower, you should make sure to avoid using the conditioner.

Utilize an ear plug and make sure that it perfectly fits into your ears. You have to prevent water from entering there. If you have scrapes, cuts, and severe dry skin, you have to cover it up so that the salt will not sting it. Usually, the staff members will provide you with petroleum jelly to help you cover up the scrapes, cuts, and severe dry skin you have.

If you are prepared for the said experience, you should slowly and carefully lower yourself into the tank. You can then close the lid by pulling down the interior handle located above. You do not need to do anything after that because the staff members will know that you are already enjoying your session when the lid is closed and the light is as it should be.

There are people who want to experience this session while the light is off. If this is the case, then you just have to push the round, black button your the left to switch the lights off or on. The lights will automatically turn on when your remaining time in the pod is just five minutes more.

There is a black, round button on your right side too. This is the panic button. You will have to press this when there is an emergency so that you can alert the staff that there is something wrong immediately.
