By Donna Long

Often, behaviors are linked to conditions in psychological aspects. Many parents suffer from judgments from the different perspective of the human eye. Not all will ever understand if someone is suffering from any given condition. There are kids who undergo several behavioral changes and exploring through different phases. Sometimes, this situation is a little traumatic for some parents. Many parents have shared their sentiments how their kids would go from sad and in the same minutes, there is excessive laughter. A lot have shared their adhd stories on social media and different platform to show awareness and be an inspiration to others.

Symptoms of adhd such as being overly noisy and squirmy, inability to stay put and constant running can be identified at a young age. When these occurrences happen from time to time, the chances of your kid being diagnosed is high. Yet, it is better to be sure as there are instances of the wrong diagnosis because kids undergo such a phase that could be linked to this condition.

As a way to inspire and virtually send a hug to people with this condition, many have shared their own stories online. Though adhd is a painstaking situation for some, the deeper side of it allows you to understand them in such a way that they do not even understand themselves. Many parents let out their emotional sufferings throughout the years and posted their sentiments on social media and personal blogs.

Lucy shared through her blog how perfect their lives were when her daughter, Lucia, came. She has beautiful smiles, eyes and she just looks so perfect. She was precious, and the day came when Lucy felt something was not right at all. She would look at Lucia with sadness and full of concerns. It was an alarming situation as she thought Lucia might be experiencing some delays both physical and mental aspects.

The time came when Kyle is legible to go to school already. Hannah, together with her husband, would send him to school day by day. However, they would often get a call from the teacher how Kyle is reacting so badly while they are away. He would hit and fight against his classmates without any reason to do so. Hannah would get permission to enter the room, and everything just makes the situation harder to digest. Why is his progress slower than other kids?

Until the time came, Vanessa and his husband consulted the condition of their son to a doctor. They knew from there that something is wrong with him until the doctor confirmed. He was diagnosed with adhd. His behavior continued to change and his focus would only last up to a minute or two. Vanessa and her husband have continued their way just to help their son. They would go camping and enrolled Jayke to soccer clinics and basketball leagues. They wanted to give their son a happy and normal childhood.

Years passed, Vanessa still questions why his son is different from any other kids. All her life after she got Jayke, she contemplated until one day she stopped obsessing with having her son be like someone else. Jayke was busy touching the dandelions, and there she knew his son does not have an interest with any other thing except discovering the world in his little ways.

As they sat down the grass near the lake, Kyle was playing with a dead leaf that he got somewhere during their fishing. He then told his parents how happy he is for the best vacation ever. Hannah hugged him as tears poured heavily while Kyle just stared blankly at the grass. It was the moment that reminded Hannah that she gave birth to a smart and beautiful kid.

Disabilities or any condition is an honor, nit a burden. Some people may not understand the situation, but they do not really have to. There have been a lot of successful stories regarding adhd and how they battled from it every day. Someone who has this kind of condition does not make you less of a person. It is a matter of showing them the care they needed.
