1.Avoiding the sun.

2. Don't be a smoker.

3. Get satisfactory sleep.

When you don't sleep enough, your body produces cortisol in excess. This is a hormone that breaks down the epidermal cells. You need to get enough rest to produce enough human growth hormone which is important in keeping your skin thick, more elastic thereby helping your skin stop wrinkling.

4 Sleep on your back.

There are specific positions that you can sleep on and lead to sleep lines which may become wrinkles that will not disappear even when you wake up as they become etched into the outer surface of your skin. So when you sleep, it increases the formation of forehead lines and wrinkles on your cheeks and jaw. The only way to avoid this is to sleep on a supine position.

5. Don't squint.

Buy a good pair of reading glasses. When you are already accustomed squinting you encourage incessant facial movements caused by overwork of the facial muscles. This creates a groove below the skin surface. A few of these creases form into a wrinkle. Hence it is important to use sunglasses. Your sunglasses helps protect the skin around the eyes from damage caused by sun exposure and it also keeps you away from squinting.
