Chemical Reactions And Double Explosion

Occurrence of a double explosion causes fire that result to great destruction of property and can degrade the environment. Double explosion occurs when there is a primary blast and then a secondary blast which is caused by different natural or artificial factors. The factors consist of blasts caused by eruptions of volcanic mountains and blasts that occur on celestial bodies like stars and asteroids.



These natural blasts occur when celestial bodies like meteors and asteroids collide with other planets or space bodies. When stars experience blasts due to gamma ray bursts, they normally die or disappear from the solar system. This proves that these natural forces and activities cause double explosion that lead to great damage witnessed at the surface of the earth and environment.

Other forms of blasts are caused by artificial applications that involve chemical reactions that lead to aggressive oxidation. These reactions result in the production of large amounts of hot gases and blasts. There are different explosive materials that cause double explosion and they include gunpowder used in making firearms, dynamite used to break barriers and nitrocellulose that is a highly flammable compound.



Electricity use plays an important role in homes, schools, hospitals, industries and companies. This means that most people rely on electricity that is associated with secondary flames that occur due to fault in electricity wiring which leads to exploding of various electronic devices that cause fire. Additionally, applying a lot of pressure to electromagnets may cause double explosion with the primary fire having minimal impact while the double explosion causing great damage to workshops.

Mechanical factors of twin blasts are associated with industries dealing with hazardous and corrosive chemicals. Overreaction causing twin blasts occur when the chemicals that are being mixed in closed vessels explode. After the initial blast, these hazardous chemicals end up being exposed to mechanical factors like fire which causes the secondary blast that can cause serious damage to the surrounding.

Nuclear power is very important in offering energy to many clients because it has eased over dependence on electricity that has been the major source of power. Nuclear power is used to drive large turbines and operate big machinery but very dangerous in case it is exposed to primary blasts. The primary blasts occur when machines overreact and cause ignition that lead to secondary explosion thus this is a double explosion that causes serious damages like radiation.

Fuel tanks commonly used for storing fuel in rockets, auto motives, and air crafts are major sources of double explosion that is very destructive. Primary fires like sparks occur in the engines and the secondary fire starts due to exposure of the sparks to different types of fuels that are flammable. Double explosion can be avoided by following safety measures put in place by different institutions about combustion of fuel.

Double explosion cause greater damage than the primary blasts because velocity and force are increased leading to massive lose of life, great destruction of property and scores of people are injured. While dealing with any materials that can cause blasts, you must strictly adhere to safety precautions set aside by various institutions in order to prevent secondary blasts. This will guarantee safety of the people involved in any activity dealing with substances that are explosive.
